Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our grounds with its abundance of wildlife (rabbits, hares, badgers, red kites, sparrow hawks, buzzards, owls, foxes, voles, etc.), or take one of the many walks through the unspoilt Welsh countryside (OS maps available on request).
We are approx. 12 miles from the spectacular scenery of the Elan
Valley. The cluster of dams supply water to Birmingham and are the ideal
place for walking and cycling. There is a cafe and Visitor Centre and a
play area for children.
Other local attractions include the Gigrin Farm Red Kite
Feeding Centre, local leisure Spa with swimming pool and steam room, etc., riding stables, clay pigeon shooting, off-road centre and the
historic Victorian "Thomas Shop". Younger children might enjoy indoor attractions such as Quackers soft play centre, or take advantage of
Llandrindod Wells safe outdoor play areas after searching for the famous Llandoddies around the Lake.
